Katie Troy
Katie is our artsy West End girl. Before joining the hair world Katie went to school for a fashion marketing and merchandizing degree. Her experience working as a fashion stylist inspired her to pursue a different section of the beauty world. In 2013 Katie started a two-year apprentice program at a well-known salon, in her hometown of Tsawwassen BC. Once her two years was complete Katie moved to the West End in Vancouver, with her now fiancé Alison.
Small town connections are always found in the best places. Jessica, owner of Bombshell, is from Tsawwassen as well, Katie came highly recommended. As they say the rest is history. Katie joined the Bombshell Team in 2015. She quickly became everyone’s favourite barber and colour specialist, specializing in men’s short cuts and balayage.
When Katie isn’t catching up with her clients, you’ll find her walking her dog Ruby on the beach or hanging on a patio with good music.

Jessica Proulx
Jessica has been in the beauty industry since 2000. She took her hair training at FHTC, in Vancouver, saying “It was an amazing experience from beginning to end.” She continued working with owner, Cynthia Skabar, after she graduated as an educator. Jessica moved on and opened the first Bombshell in May 2012.
Education is paramount to Jessica. Not only does she attend classes regularly online, in Vancouver and L.A; she surrounds herself in like minded stylists. Her entire team is involved in ongoing education and loves to share knowledge with each other daily. Jessica’s background includes more than just hair, she attended Blanch MacDonald for both Aesthetics and special effects makeup. She believes all her education benefits her hair career as face shape, skin tone & textures and unique problem-solving requests make the most beautiful end results.
Jessica specializes in all hair colour, especially Blondes, and tape-in hair extensions. Ask her how to take your hair dreams to the next level.

Shannon Regan
Shannon has 20+ years in the hair industry.
After being trained in 2001 at the Hair Art Academy, Shannon’s career started at a small local salon in White Rock. Falling in love with the community, Shannon moved on to open her own hair studio for 10 years, Lit Hair Studio.
Shannon specializes in Vivid fashion colours, blondes, balayage, curly hair and extensions.
We are happy to say Shannon has been at Bombshell since 2017.

Mairead Colley
Mairéad has 19+ years as a Hairdresser.
Starting her career in Dublin Ireland, training in the most high end prestigious salons, working with high profiled Actors and Actresses
After 10 years of hair dressing in Ireland, Mairead moved to Vancouver Canada. Working in high end AVEDA salons and trained as an AVEDA educator in the industry. She has also worked as an educator for Kevin Murphy.
Mairéad has gained lots of experience working in TV and Film since 2016 and has worked on Actors for various high profile Netflix serous. Earning a nomination for best hair stylist for TV series
Mairéad’s first love is being a colour and extension specialist. Specifically specializing in blondes/balayage/and all extension types.
