Everyone’s safety is our top priority. As we get back to work doing what we love, in this New Normal, we have some changes we need to share with you.

Bombshell Staff Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures:

• By appointment only. No walk-ins.
• We have extended our business hours.
• We have restricted scheduling and closed half our stations to limit the number of people who can be in our space at one time
• Cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces, implements and tools between every guest
• After each staff finishes with a guest they will sanitize their hair chair, station, trolly, all door handles and the washroom (this will ensure the washroom area is cleaned hourly)
• Hand sanitizer, soap, Lysol wipes and disposable towels are available in the washroom for client comfort. As well as COVID-19 signs
• Signs indicating confirmation and the time sinks and stations were disinfected, leaving the appropriate time between use.
• Laundering all capes and towels after each guest at high heat. Every guest has new, clean linen that has been stored appropriately along with neck guards.
• Any non-essential items that could potentially transfer germs have been removed. (Ie. Magazines, appointment reminder cards, etc). Complimentary WiFi is available for use and you may bring their own reading materials
• Ensuring the sanitation of payment machines between guests and encouraging contactless payment when possible.
• Our team has the appropriate PPE to be used during services including masks, disposable gloves, and face shields.
• Discontinued the practice of handshaking and non-essential contact for the time being.
• The waiting area is temporarily closed
• We have social distancing stickers on the floor to know where to comfortably stand
• We have plexiglass sneeze guards at the front desk.
• Clear signage communicating our procedures are posted
• Stylists temperature is taken daily and placed on their station
• If our team is experiencing any symptoms or feels sick, they will be asked to stay home, and we will reschedule all their guests.
• Our stations are set up to be self-contained, with hand sanitizer, cleaning & sanitizing sprays, as well as all the new clean tools to be used per client
• Everything is changed and disinfected between guests
• All Bombshell staff has taken the new Covid-19 Barbicide course, this course was a refresher course on proper disinfection and sanitization procedures. All certificates will be posted at the salon and online

Guest Arrival Procedure:

• We ask that guests wear a mask. If they do not have one, we will provide one for you
• We recommend arriving no earlier than five minutes before your appointment.
• Please call or give us a wave from outside. We will invite you in as soon as your stylist is finished disinfecting and sanitizing their station for you.
• We will ask some pre-screening questions regarding any symptoms or travel before entry.
• We will ask you to wash your hands upon arrival or use a hand sanitizer that will be provided.
• Hand sanitizer is readily available all around the salon
• All personal items including jackets, purses, keys, etc must be kept with you and placed in the lined basket provided
• Please come alone for your appointment, no friends or family
• Parents, please bring only one child at a time if they have an appointment
• Unfortunately, kids are not permitted to attend their parents’ appointment at this time
• If you are experiencing any symptoms or feel unwell in any way, we ask that you reschedule your appointment.
• If any staff member feels that it is unsafe to start or continue a service you will be asked to reschedule
• We will have a strict no-show policy, as our schedule is limited. Please reschedule if you feel unwell, even 2 hours, before your appointment
• NO SHOWS will be charged for the full-service amount on their next visit

As you can see we have extra work ahead of us, with fewer guests in a day. Because of this, and to include and PPE (personal protective equipment), guests and stylist require we will be increasing our prices by 10%.

Through these measures, we feel confident that we can keep both you and our team safe. We hope to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 now and in the future.
